Telepresence

We will provide eight Teleport telepresence robots for attending IJCAI 2017 remotely. The robots will be available for the main conference only (August 22-25). Four robots will be prioritised for institutional research groups while the remaining four robots will be allocated for individual use during the conference. No cost will be associated with the use of the robots.

For institutions and AI research groups interested in reserving a robot for the entire conference please email David Rajaratnam(daver AT cse DOT unsw DOT edu DOT au) directly.

For individuals users, the robots will be available for attending all conference sessions and talks, as well as for community meetings during the breaks. Since there are a limited number of robots, we ask people to please express a preference for each time slot they indicate during registration.

Please note that the telepresence robots cannot be used as a substitute for physically attending the conference to present a paper.
